Drive
A home for every file, with a folder for each client and search that finds the words inside your files.
Last updated October 28, 2026.
What it is for
Drive keeps your files: photos, contracts, receipts, plans and documents. Folders are made for you, including one for each client.
What it does best
It finds things. Search looks at file names, the words inside files and your client records at the same time.
Common tasks
Add and organize files
- Open Drive and drop files in, or choose Upload.
- Drag a file onto any folder to move it.
Search inside everything
- Type a client, an address or a phrase.
- Results include files that mention it, not only files named for it.
Share a file or ask a client to upload
- Choose Share on a file to send a link.
- Or make an upload link so a client can send you their documents.
Today and at launch
Works today
- Real file storage for signed in accounts: upload, folders, rename, move, and trash with restore. The trash empties itself after 30 days.
- Share links that expire in 1 to 30 days and can be turned off any time.
- Files are encrypted at rest, and programs and scripts are refused.
- Docs saves documents to Drive as PDFs, and Sign files originals and signed copies here.
At launch
- Full size storage: today each file can be up to 10 MB and a workspace up to 50 MB.
- Share links your clients can open. Today a link opens only behind the preview password.
- Client upload links, and one storage pool for the whole team.
How it connects
Signed copies from Sign, attachments from Mail, receipts for Books, and files from Docs, Sheets and Slides all live in Drive, filed by client from Contacts.
