Before launch: inquire
Scale Suite opens on January 1, 2027. Until then you can inquire on the home page with Find me. It is free and needs no card.
- Cameron calls or emails you back personally, looks at what you use today, and tells you honestly whether Scale Suite fits.
- Inquiring saves founder pricing for you: 20% off list, when you start a plan between January 1 and January 31, 2027. The rules are on Plans and pricing.
- Inquiring creates your Scale Suite account so your founder price is saved. You sign in to it when the suite opens.
Signing up at launch
At launch Accounts and sign in open on January 1, 2027. We email you the sign in steps.
- Go to suite.scalembs.com and choose Continue with Scale.
- Sign in with a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your phone). You can also use a one time email code, Google or Microsoft. A password is the last option, and it is optional.
- You must be 18 or older, and Scale Suite is for business use. Setup asks you to confirm both.
The setup steps
Setup asks one question at a time and saves as you go, so you can stop and pick up where you left off. Anything marked optional can be skipped and done later from the app itself.
- About you. Your name, your business name, what kind of business it is and how many people work there. Your kind of business picks your website starter, your templates and the examples on Home. The size helps pick the plan that saves you the most.
- Your email. Pick a new address, or use your own domain. You can buy a domain in Domains or connect one you already own. Optional: bring your old email over. See your email in other apps below.
- Security. Create a passkey. Optional: an authenticator app for two step sign in, and backup codes. Save the 10 backup codes somewhere safe; each works once.
- Money. Optional: set up Pay so you can take payments, and connect your bank. See below.
- Calendar. Optional: bring your calendar over and set the hours you take meetings. Your booking page only offers those times.
- Website. Optional: AI builds a first draft of your site from your business details. You edit it in Sites by telling AI what to change.
- People. Optional: bring your contacts and invite your team.
- AI. Choose what AI may do on its own. Everything is off until you turn it on. Pick how it should sound in drafts.
- Your plan. Confirm a plan and add a card to start your 30 day free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial.
Every step works the same way at launch. In the preview today, steps that would connect a real bank, card or mailbox are switched off and say so plainly.
Picking a plan
Every plan includes all 20 apps and AI. Pick by how many people need their own login.
| Plan | Who it is for | List a month | Founder price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Suite | 1 person | $25 | $20 |
| Pro | 1 person who wants AI staff and deeper Analytics | $59 | $47.20 |
| Team | Up to 5 people | $119 | $95.20 |
| Company | Up to 40 people, including 5 Pro seats | $899 | $719.20 |
Change plans any time in Settings, Plan and billing. You see the exact cost before you confirm. Full details, including the trial and cancelling, are on Plans and pricing.
Inviting your team
- Go to Settings, Team and users.
- Type their email and pick a role: Admin, Member or Guest. There is one Owner per business.
- Send. They get an email to join. A pending invite holds a seat until they accept or you cancel it. Invites last 7 days; use Resend for a fresh link.
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing, payroll and bank balances. |
| Admin | Everything except billing and ownership. Can invite and remove people. |
| Member | Works in the apps you give them and sees records shared with them. |
| Guest | Only the apps you pick. Free, and uses no seat. Good for vendors. |
AI follows the same roles. Payroll, pay by person and bank balances are owner only, and the server checks this on every request.
At launch Invites go out by email when accounts open.
Connecting your bank
- Open Money and choose Connect a bank.
- Pick your bank and sign in on your bank's own screen, through Plaid. Scale never sees your bank login. The connection is read only: Scale can see accounts and transactions, and cannot move money.
- Transactions arrive every few hours. AI suggests a category for each one in Books, and you accept with one tap.
Disconnect any time from the same screen. Disconnecting deletes the stored connection and stops new bank data; transactions already in Money stay until you delete them.
At launch Bank connections are switched off in the preview today, so no real bank is contacted.
Setting up Pay
Pay lets clients pay you by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer on invoices, payment links and bookings. Payments go to your own Stripe account. Scale is not a bank and never holds your money.
- In Money, choose Turn on Pay. It is also a step in setup.
- Answer four short steps: your business, you, where payouts go, and a review. Stripe verifies your business and collects your tax ID and payout bank details, not Scale.
- Pick your statement name (what clients see on their card statement) and your logo and color for the pay page.
- Send your first invoice or payment link from Money.
One price for every payment: 5% with a $1.50 minimum, card fees included. See Pay fees, with examples.
At launch Checkout is not live in the preview today, so nothing is charged.
Your email on your own domain, in Outlook, Apple Mail or Gmail
At launch The settings below are ready in the app today and start working when Mail servers go live.
Use your own domain
- Go to Mail, Settings, Domain, and type your domain.
- Add the four records the app shows at your domain host: MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC. If you bought the domain in Domains, this is done for you.
- Most hosts update in under an hour. Mail checks every few minutes and tells you when it works. Your website stays where it is; only email records change.
Add your address to another mail app
Go to Settings, Account, Use your Scale email in other apps. Make an app password there first; each mail app gets its own, and you can remove one any time.
- Apple Mail on iPhone, iPad or Mac. Download the profile, open Settings, tap Profile downloaded, then Install. On a Mac, use System Settings, Profiles. Paste your app password when asked. The profile shows as unverified until Scale signs it; that is expected.
- Outlook. Choose Add account and type your address. If it asks what kind of account, pick IMAP, then paste your app password. If Outlook cannot find the settings, type the server settings below.
- Gmail app. Tap your picture, Add another account, Other. Type your address, pick IMAP (on Android, Personal (IMAP)), paste your app password, and fill in the servers below.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Incoming (IMAP) | imap.scalemail.biz, port 993, SSL |
| Outgoing (SMTP) | smtp.scalemail.biz, port 465 with SSL, or 587 with STARTTLS |
| User name | Your full email address |
| Password | An app password from Settings, not your sign in |
What to do in your first week
- Open Home each morning. It shows the one thing that matters first.
- Send one real invoice from Money, so you see how Pay and Books line up.
- Share your booking link from Calendar instead of trading emails about times.
- Ask AI a question about your own business, like who you should call today.
You do not have to move everything at once. Start with one app and add the rest when you are ready. Switching from another suite? Read Switching from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
